Welcome, I’m Angelica!

I’m a fine art wedding photographer based in Chico, California.

I love sharing in all of the beautiful moments that happen during my couple's wedding day! Marriage is so important and I'm honored I can be a part of your journey.

My own journey with photography began when my mother provided me with my first set of crayons. Even though I drew on the walls instead of the construction paper she provided, she always encouraged me to pursue art and embrace my creativity. My art, since then, has evolved into photography, both in the digital space and through film. I love the results I get from taking photos and expressing my creativity in those moments that I get to share with other people.

I adore my family! You can find me scouting a new restaurant with my husband/bestie/favorite person ever, Aaron, catching up on a new episode of a British whodunit, or cuddling with my two cats, Jem (named after the 80s TV show), and Link (from Zelda). My 7-year-old and I love doing crafts and having impromptu dance-offs! I’m partial to key lime pie, lemon popsicles when it's hot, and chai when it's chilly. I love getting to know new people and shopping for home decor.

I’m really passionate about sharing my gifts with my couples, and improving my client’s lives, one photograph at a time. Weddings can be so busy, so it's important to have photographs to take you back to that special day. I really can’t describe how it feels to show someone beautiful photographs and help them remember the one moment in time they will always hold close, surrounded by loved ones with someone they are committing to for the rest of their lives. Clients trust me with these moments and I appreciate this so much.

MY PHILOSOPHY

I believe my clients deserve my full attention not only on their wedding day, but up until their day. If you have questions regarding your wedding photography or vendor recommendations, I am here for you.

I believe your wedding photos should be a collection of editorial, documentary, and classic moments that tell a story of your day. Traditional photos are what make the parents happy, but I will also capture the stylish, candid, and fun portraits from your day.

I believe that your wedding day should be your dream day coming to life, and that your love should shine through for all of your friends and family to see. My goal is to capture that authentic love and emotion between you and your new spouse.

I believe your photos should withstand the test of time, and that your children's children should be able to look back at your wedding memories and feel like they were present on your day. Because of this, I tend to document and edit photos in a way that showcases clean edits, romantic embraces, and fun moments- but so stylishly done that the images should belong in a magazine!

I believe all of the planning that you've put into your wedding should be documented, so for this reason I ask clients to allow ample time for their wedding day photos. Whether it’s the wedding rings, the invitation suite, or uninterrupted reception space, being able to look back at those memories can generate the feeling of excitement that this day actually came true!
